Cape Town, by many standards the gay-friendliest
city in Africa, is also noteworthy for the quality of
its hotels and spas. The 12 Apostles Hotel and Spa,
a member of The Leading Small Hotels of the World, may
not be the best-known spa hotel with US travelers, but
across the pond it’s garnered a good share of recognition.
The hotel’s Sanctuary Spa, in fact, was recently

only Rasul Chamber, a small room lined with mosaic tiles,

lovely options for strolling and hiking, and the hotel
